IFP builds skills and nurtures social communicators and fundraisers to effectively communicate and engage society in causes. IFP builds on 13 years of training experience, arising out of skill-building workshops, custom-built courses and hands-on experience of adapting learning for over 1,000 small, medium and large voluntary organisations in India and South Asia.

 

At IFP, we prepare you to be effective in creating awareness about your cause, organisation and the sector; and promoting a culture of giving towards the voluntary sector.

 

IFP offers courses in a variety of formats:

 

Skill building workshops
Open workshops: Practical and hands-on workshops usually of two to three days duration for fundraisers who want to enhance their skills in particular aspects of fundraising or communication.

 

Customised workshops: Workshops of two to five days duration, customised to suit the needs of a specific network or group on developing a communication and/ or fundraising strategy or a particular skill area that requires enhancement. 

 

Clinics: These are consultative in nature, led by experts and practitioners who will help organisations assess their existing financial situation, develop strategies or offer support on a specific element of communication or fundraising.

 

Certified Courses
Certificate in Communication and Fundraising – Online: Three-month online course for individuals who want to add a specialised skill set to their work and enhance their careers. It is followed by a four week internship with an organisation. Working individuals as well as final year degree students who want to make a career in fundraising can opt for this course.

 

Diploma in Communication and Fundraising - Online: We offer short one-month online capsules on specific topics related to communication and fundraising. Completion of six short capsules along with the Certificate course will lead to a Diploma. Options are also open for taking these short capsules without completing the Certificate course. These capsules are best suited for those who have completed the certificate course or fundraisers who want to specialise in a particular area of communication  or fundraising.

 

Post Graduate Diploma in Communication and Fundraising – Face-to-face: A one year Post-Graduate Diploma is based on an internship model where the student will attend classes, intern with an organisation and assimilate learning with real world experiences. This course is for graduates who want to take up a career in communication and fundraising for the voluntary sector, educational and healthcare institutions.
