About us
MCC was established by Murray and Indira Culshaw. Murray serves and Chair and Mentor of MCC, which benefits from his diverse skills across many disciplines and over 25 years of his fundraising experience, gained both in India and overseas.
Bharati Ramachandran serves as our Chief Executive. Our core areas of business are divided into four units, each of them managed by experts in their fields.
Our Consulting unit is currently headed by Nisha Purushothaman with support from Senior Consultant - Fundraising, Babita Verma, consultants Shobha M and Ram Sundher and designer Vanessa Ruth Job. The unit provides a range of services including strategic direction on communication and fundraising, copywriting and design, donor relations and on-site mentoring. Our courses help voluntary organisations communicate the work of their organisation, build credibility and formulate a strategy for communicating and fundraising. Our Research & Evaluations unit - headed by Priya Anand with support from research associates Sudha Indiresha and Shireen Kurian - has conducted research into a wide variety of fundraising activities and giving patterns in India. The unit also provides technology expertise through customised databases and websites, led by Manager - Technology Aysha Sreekanth.
